Tuft & Needle Mint vs Puffy Lux Mattress (Updated Review). In this video, JD covers our updated Puffy Lux vs Tuft and Needle Mint comparison. These are two premium foam bed in a box mattresses.

Tuft & Needle Mint: The Mint is the next step up from the company’s flagship budget foam mattress. The Mint mattress is comprised entirely of foam layers and lands on the soft end of the spectrum. Overall, the mattress has a neutral foam feel that is quite accommodating. Given the firmness level of the mattress, we think the Mint is best suited for side sleepers. Back and stomach sleepers generally firmer slightly firmer mattresses. Compared to the Puffy Lux, the Tuft & Needle Mint is much more affordable. A queen size costs less than $1,000.

Puffy Lux: Like the Mint, the Puffy Lux is the next step up from the Original Puffy mattress. The Lux also lands on the softer end of the scale. However, unlike the Mint bed, the Puffy Lux has more of a light, airy memory foam feel. As such, people who like memory foam will likely want to go with Lux over the Mint mattress. The Puffy Lux is also a good option for side sleepers. The bed provides a good amount of pressure relief for your hips and shoulders. On the downside, the Puffy Lux is a few hundred dollars more expensive than the Tuft & Needle Mint.
